Equal Film Initiatives

As a job training production assistance program, EFI will also serve as a documenting film program for youth and adults that have an interest in working in the film industry, capturing the stories, laughter and lessons learned (patience, tolerance, understanding and more) of ALL= services, events and the amazing stories of our program participants. This program will help trainees learn the film industry for career development in the areas of camera operation, lighting, sound, etc., while capturing the activities of ALL=, i.e., major events and more.

Besides documenting ALL=’s programs and events in operation, the EFI will also focus on providing a film education project; documenting participant stories and experiences (only participants that want to openly share), while incorporating a production assistance film program.

Now more than ever, it is imperative that new technologies and creative applications are taught to be competitive in the workplace.

Working alongside professionals in the industry (collaborating film producers, camera operators, sound engineers, etc.), EFI’s program will introduce our program participants to video production. We will achieve maximum results through technical training on camera, sound, lighting equipment and editing software. This will prepare them for entry-level jobs in film, television, journalism and advertising industries.
